NURTURING WITH NUMBERS

Counting is one of the first learning experiences in young lives;  it is important as a building block to problem solving, sorting differences, and developing the basic knowledge needed in life skills.

Designed by talented First Nations artist Sherren Gross, this fun set of 1 – 10 counting cards combine well defined images with aesthetically pleasing depictions of the natural world.  Each card is double sided with small Ladybirds featuring on one side of each card, and a variety of other creatures on the reverse.   Particularly appealing is the finish of embroidery on fabric – beautifully  tactile!  Fitting snugly into a zippered soft case, with Sherren’s permission it has been reproduced by artisans at Fair Trade producer producer group Artisans Effort in India.
